Before you write

How quickly will you reply?
During opening hours we usually reply the same working day, often within a couple of hours. Overnight messages are picked up first thing in the morning.
Should I just call instead?
For anything urgent, yes. A phone call is the fastest way to check whether a date is genuinely free before you commit to anything.
What should I include?
Your travel dates, how many adults and children, Gypsy or Canter, and where you are staying. With those four answers we can tell you what is realistically open rather than guessing.
Does advice cost anything?
No. Advice on zones, vehicles and season is free, and we would rather you asked before booking than discovered something afterwards.
I already have a booking. Where do I send a change?
Reply to the confirmation email or WhatsApp the number on it. That reaches us faster than a new enquiry because it arrives with your booking reference attached.

Questions we can answer before you write

Most messages are one of five things. If yours is below, the answer is probably faster than a reply, but if it is not, message us and you will get a straight answer the same working day.

Is my date actually open?

It depends on the zone, not just the date, and zone availability moves weekly. Ten zones run, zones 1–5 close every Wednesday and zones 6–10 close every Tuesday, and the Forest Department allocates the zone when the permit is issued rather than when you book. Send us your dates and we will tell you what is genuinely free, including the alternatives if your first choice is closed.

Gypsy or Canter?

A Gypsy seats six, reaches the narrow interior tracks including zones 7 and 8, and can pull off the main circuit. A Canter seats twenty, sits higher, costs less per head and stays on the wider routes. Neither sees better wildlife than the other — the difference is access and privacy, not quality. Tell us how many of you are travelling and whether anyone is bringing a serious camera, and we will say which one fits.

How far ahead should I book?

Three to four weeks is usually enough for March to June. For October to February, or any Indian long weekend, allow six to eight weeks. Seats open roughly 90 days ahead. The season runs 1 October to 30 June; the park is closed for the monsoon from 1 July to 30 September.

Can you change or cancel an existing booking?

Yes. Reply to your confirmation email or WhatsApp the number on it, because that reaches us with your booking reference already attached. Our cancellation and refund policy sets out the timelines, and we would rather process a change quickly than have you wait on a form.

Do you arrange anything beyond the safari?

Yes — hotel booking in Sawai Madhopur and near the gate, airport and railway station transfers, and itineraries built around the Chambal river trip, Ranthambore Fort and the surrounding attractions. It is all arranged through the same booking so there is one contact and one invoice.
